While the rest of the petroleum thirsty world drills the earth's crust for oil, the United States Congress, led by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, tells us we can't. Apparently it's OK for Russia, Brazil, China, Venezuela, Canada, oh, I almost forgot Nigeria(ad nauseum) ... it's OK for all of them to drill but not us. Why you ask? What say you Queen Pelosi? Please spare a smidgen of time from your rigorous schedule of busily "saving the planet" to enlighten the masses.In the meantime, my friend's pastor said that Jesus of Nazareth has already "saved the planet." Perhaps the outrageously hubristic and plagiarizing Pelosi could employ a different sound bite. How about a phrasing which includes "cripple, handcuff, hamstring, or seditiously emasculate this nation's energy resources." Either one would more accurately describe her goals.
In the meantime, I sure hope it doesn't rain today. I'm pedaling my Schwinn Le Tour to Home Depot as my individual sacrificial contribution to save our globe ...oh wait, how am I gonna carry anything back with me? (Click on bold headline for complete story)

Who makes the most product worldwide that requires oil to produce it? Not the U.S.A. as virtually all manufacturing has gone off shore. Next who consumes most? With U.S.A. only about 5% of the world's total population, 30% of world uses electricity, this means only 18% of the of electric and related demands are use by the U.S.A., as shocking as it sounds.
Ive mentioned before that the fuel we burn in our cars is waste after all is said and done from the extraction and uses of crude.
The companies make extracts to make paint, textiles, shoes, and so much all require or calls for crude extracts. There is a lot of pollutants and waste.
It's not all just for electricity and fuel.... much much more is involved.
The other countries and rest of the 83% of the world are contributing to the dyeing Seas and disease and sicknesses, processed foods (chemical-ized). Even GMO all these are factors of crude which downstream form chemical and pharmaceutical companies. .... but we all seem to have to have our drugs.... it seems. The TV drug, the un-natural foods, the crazy close and slavery nose hoops. ...
If more of these 30% people globally used and produced natural foods, good soil, and used natural electricity, fuel etc. We would all prosper much more and have better health and longer life of mankind on Earth.
But, ... the barons will not allow such. It isn't those who don't want to drill for crude that are the problem, though it appears so but it's a huge massive "live for today only" mentality.
God said he will destroy those who destroy the Earth? Who are those who do such and what are the ways the destructions that is taking place? Bombs only? Ain't no way.
Soil killers, seed killers, water killers, people killers, air killers, etc. etc. etc. It is a wide path that leads to destruction and narrow to life.
Man is smart enough but the human nature is not able.
All the Nations on the Earth are but a drop in the bucket to God. The leaders take council against God and his anointed (people and ways) ... and God laughs at them.
All the wisdom of man is less than the foolishness of God...
