Surely, the party "aristocracy" regrets that the voters of Massachusetts have any say in Kennedy's senate seat succession since the legislature changed the rules when JFK (Kerry) ran for the presidency in 2004.One brilliant commenter suggested:

Saint Theodore the Obese, evidently thinks he's a member of the House of Lords where he can assign a relative to his hereditary seat in the senate. The last I read, the people of Massachusetts have the final say on that matter.
